Travel was not a part of my childhood, growing up in a small mountain town, I came to love adventure and over the years have become my friend’s favorite “adventure buddy”. My first taste of travel was on a trip to the U.S. Virgin Islands with friends, and I was instantly hooked with the idea that there was more to the world than what I knew. I no longer just wanted to see the world, but experience it.

From Boston, to Scotland, Japan, and South Africa every time I visit somewhere new I grow into someone different, and more confident. Learning from different cultures, traditions, food, and experiences I want to be able to share the adventure with others and be truthfully honest about the experience. In doing this I hope it encourages you to take a leap of faith, and agree to an adventure you may not normally do.

In starting this blog, I plan to provide you tips and tricks so you can plan a trip that fits your needs best. From budget to luxury, Disney, to the African bush, here at Adventuring Faithfully you will find destination guides that leave lasting memories, travel hacks to make the trip stress-free, food and accommodation recommendations that you will dream about for years.

And because adventure is more enjoyable when you feel safe, I’ll also bring a perspective that is a little different from the typical travel blog. As a cop by night and traveler whenever I get the chance, I’ll share practical safety tips, that will help the solo traveler feel confident in a safe trip.

I hope you come along with me on this adventure of blogging my love for travel, and as you will get to know me I hope I can encourage you to step out of your comfort and say yes to Adventuring Faithfully.
